A good, safe stopover, with large grassed sites and meals available for dinner. This is a roadhouse and bore water is available, but not for drinking or washing your car/van. Amenities are tired and not the cleanest due to bore water, but they're serviced and bins are emptied.We had a pleasant time stargazing at night. Very little road noise.Would stay again.

Poor service. Couple asked for toilet paper to use the facilities. They were advised 'we don't provide toilet paper' The cakes, rolls and sandwiches looked days old. Avoid like the plague.Edit: If you make your rolls and sandwiches fresh, then you have a problem, they look days old.

Horrible staff dont care. Doors have punched holes in them moldy falling apart no air-conditioning doors are hard to open and apparently there is a Nac" to open them so had to get staff to come unlock it which took 30mins even tho reception was 2min walk away dont waste your money."

Sensational Music Wednesday night's, topped off by amazing food, friendly staff...and down to Earth beautiful locals...all set in a historic setting with peaceful ambience inside and out...l love this pub...

Great diesel price! Worth the drive to fill up! Staff great, large selection of food, camping out the back, we'll be calling in again on our way back!

Close to town & beach, but disappointed room was not clean & restocked & grounds untidy & overgrown. Although no longer a B&B there was a facility to do your own breakfast but we were not told of this? Reading previous reviews & seeing pics it sounded & looked lovely but unfortunately it looks like it has been neglected of late ☹️

Food was great, Muffins were soft and fluffy, Hot chips were fresh, and the burger was fantastic, friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, amenities were also clean.

Amazingly fresh food. Crispy chips and chicken. It was busy due to it being a public holiday! But service was responsibley quick

DisappointingWe checked in on Tuesday. Family of 6. Staying for 5 days. The room was fantastic. Great for us all. But….. advised housekeeping would be done each day. We arrived with only 4 towels. Had to go to reception to ask for more towels. They had none so they gave us beach towels.The following day we had no housekeeping done.By the 3rd day. I needed to go ask for more clean towels and toilet paper for us.Was advised no housekeeping as a public holiday. I asked for again more clean towels but nothing. So I asked for washing powder to wash my own.By day 4 , I demanded housekeeping to come in.They came to only make our bed and give us clean towels.No vacuuming done. Room full of sand, due to us being at the beach daily, that wasn’t cleaned up.Female at Reception wasn’t helpful at all. Quite disappointing

The whitchcliffe roadhouse had some good prices for fuel and great food. The staff were very polite and helpful when speaking with them and greeted us when we went into the store. They also have this pretty cool witch figure out the front of the road house.
